Lahma bi Ajeen

Ingredients

  • 500g lean lamb mince
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed
  • 1 red capsicum diced
  • 2 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 6 tomatoes chopped
  • Salt, pepper,cumin, chilli
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Pita bread  about 3 packs

Method

  • Slice pita bread in halves (about 3 packs)
  • Mix the rest of the ingredients in a bowl
  • Place about 2 tablespoons of the mixture on each piece of bread
  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees and bake for about 10-15 minutes
  • Serve warm with yoghurt and salad on the side
